Kids Creations for November

Thoughtful Thanksgiving
Wow this year is coming to an end! Thanksgiving already. These next few months are my ultimate favorite! because I get to spend quality time with my loved ones and of course eating all the most delicious comfort foods but also I feel it is the most beautiful and colorful times of the year which is a most comfortable pallet for my eyes and soul.Thanksgiving day is a very busy time for the females in our family but I think we need to involve everyone especially for the kids. Hopefully I will be able to share some fun and creative ways to involve everyone this Thanksgiving!Have a wonderful day! Be creative and enjoy all the little moments in life!Your friend, Creative Dot Mom
Since it is flu season and kids are in need of tissue at all times wouldn't it be cute to have this sitting on their desk with a love note from home.

I love this kids Thanksgiving table with the fringe on the bottom it reminds me of the vest that my kids make every year at school.

Here is another idea for the kids table at Thanksgiving and what a great way to keep your kids entertained while you are busy with food preparations. For details check out Martha Stewart.

Thoughtful Thanksgiving

I love this Martha Stewart turkey idea. I enjoy spending time with the family during Thanksgiving day but I really like including the kids in the festivities even the cooking. I have used this idea in the past and It adds a great spirit to the day especially during meal time as everyone is sharing thoughts and feelings that we are all grateful for.

Last year I used this idea instead of paper I transfered the pattern and made it a bit smaller onto clay and I had all the little helpers busy making boats while the adults helped in the kitchen. It was a bit messy but the kids loved it! and it still is the talk of the table. (if you use this idea it takes two full days to dry!)
This year we have a few older kids so I think I will be using this idea and will be hiding a special message inside the boat and they will be making their own maps as table covers. Will see how this one turns out.

Halloween Details

The traditional Moss Family Halloween party. Mom-black cat, Dad and Aubrey-wasn't into the costume thing this year, The Boman girls Go Go girls, Steven-Old Time Golfer, Tyler and Katie Ninja Turtles and yes even a prop-pizza!

Our menu consisted of... a citrus punch with a floating hand, green finger bread sticks that Katie made they were yummy!, ceasar salad, my moms homemade spider spaghetti, and then for dessert spider web cupcakes. The menu was not only a hit but very yummy! which at Halloween is a challenge to have fun and yum and thanks to everyone's help we got it just right!

Here is a better look at the spider web cupcakes these were a lot of fun to make and not to hard to make just took a bit of time, but worth it because if anyone knows me I love Halloween!
