I have a love and a true passion for the arts and its many forms. This is how it all began…Interior Design (my degree), textiles (I especially love fabric and of course my eye is always drawn to polka dots), floor plan (retail accessory and furniture designer), lighting design (my current job), party and event planning (my true obsession), owner and director of Center Stage Studios (children's singing, dancing, and performing group, and my expensive hobby as my husband would put it), wood projects, painting of any sort, paper projects, fabric designs including doll making, making the latest hair accessory, and an advisor on the Draper Youth Council (which makes me feel like a teenager again, but reminds me I am getting older). Why the title “Creative Dot Mom?” I am always drawn to polka dots in whatever design I am working on. Why? Maybe because they are timeless, simple, clean, fun, go well with other designs, and make me smile as I try in some way to become the perfect polka dot.
